Ready in 10 minutes, once you make these super crisp and easy to make potato peel chips you will never throw away those peels again! These are my family’s favourite way to enjoy a quick snack with some sour cream, ketchup or peri peri dip on the side.
Ingredients
Method
- Peels of 6-7 big sized potatoes
- 1 tbsp Olive oil or Avocado oil
- 1/4 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tbsp Mint Powder
- 1/4 tbsp Rosemary
- 1/2 tbsp Italian seasoning or dry oregano
- 1/4 tbsp Chilli flakes
- Pinch of Black pepper
- Pinch of Salt
Method
Method:
- 1)
Wash and dry the potato peels so that they are absolutely dry. There should be no moisture left in the peels.
- 2)
Put the peels in a large bowl, add all the spices and olive oil. Toss everything well until the peels are evenly coated with the oil and seasoning.
- 3)
Pre-heat the air-fryer at 180 degree Celsius.
- 4)
Put the peels in the air fryer tray and let it air-fry to 15-20 minutes (can vary depending on your air fryer) at 180 degree Celsius or until crisp and golden brown.
Notes
Tips:
– Always wash and scrub the potatoes well since we are using the peels
– Don’t use peels of potatoes with green skin
– You can make any seasoning of your choice
Variations: You can use peels of other vegetables like sweet potato, carrots etc. too to make crispy chips in the same way.
Super simple to make but delightfully tasty and well enjoyed! These will disappear faster than you can even peel them.
