This recipe consist of a choice of mixed vegetables ranging from baby corn, capsicum, cauliflower, mushrooms and carrots to anything you want to eat which make it a very healthy dish. It is a perfect appetiser for any party or gathering because there is something in it for everybody.

Ingredients
- Two potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 3 carrots
- 25 g sweetcorn
- 25 g green peas
- 4 tablespoon cornflour
- 1 tablespoon mixed herbs powder
- 2 teaspoon chilli flakes
- 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, for frying
For dipping and coating:
- 25 g corn flour
- 25 g flattened rice (poha)
Method

Steam the veggies in a steamer.

Once cooked, take them out of the steamer and let them cool down.
- 3)
In a bowl, mix cornflour with water and make a thin slurry paste.

Powder the flattened rice

Add the mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, spices, salt and corn flour to a bowl. Knead it to form a dough.

Keep the dough in the refrigerator for 3–4 hours so that there is no moisture left in it.

After taking it out from the refrigerator, roll it into small cylindrical strips and dip these in the cornflour paste.

Then coat it with the flattened rice mixture.

Heat some oil in a wok and drop the veggie strips into it one by one to fry.

Deep fry the strips on a low medium flame till they turn crispy and golden brown in colour.
Serve these hot with some red and green chilli sauce and enjoy!
